During the current Lockdown, we can see that there is an increase in the domestic violence cases throughout India. Aaina is already working in cases related to domestic violence and in collaboration with CYSD has came up with a citizen helpline service to assist people in any issues ranging from, information on Covid prevention to counseling service for women and families to prevent domestic violence through personal and legal tele- counseling. |

Human history is observing a very strange time fighting an invisible enemy; the novel COVID-19 coronavirus. The pandemic besides infecting people has also brought upon new social realities. Extreme social distancing, nationwide lockdown. It has changed the entire system and life style of people. In order to avoid social gathering, this year we chose the e-space for the observation of the day. On 28th May 2020 Aaina in collaboration with Water Aid, SOA Radio organized a webinar named �Periods does not stop for pandemic � Issues and challenges in Covid-19 context�. |

Aaina has immediately started its response to deal with the Covid-19 crisis that has affected not just our country, but the entire world. Aaina in collaboration with WIPRO Foundation India has distributed 2150 vulnerable families, including family of Person with Disability, Widow, Ultra poor without ration card,daily wage laborer, People Leaving with HIV,pregnant and lactating mother, old age, orphan children. |
