Relief Distribution Camp at Kanpura
aaina organised a relief distribution camp in September2010 at Kanpura village of Kamakhyanagar, in response to fires which hit the village and destroyed many homes. The camp was supported by Cordaid, Netherlands.

Pre Meeting With Community
Before distribution we met with the community members & relief committee of the village, to discuss how the distribution would be completed peacefully. All the community members & relief committee were happy to help & cooperate with us and supplied a list of total affected people. It was help us to distribute effectively.

Relief Materials
The following materials were distributed to the vulnerable people of Kanpura:
    1. Mosquito Net
    2. Mat   
    3. Bucket
    4. Mug
    5. Lamp

Process of Distribution
Before the distribution camp we informed all villagers to gather at community hall. After that as per the list we called people one by one and distributed one set of materials each. There were 263 beneficiaries in total.
With the support of project staff & community members the distribution camp was carried out successfully.
