SRHR Training program, Ganjam under “Flying Wings” Project The training program on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescent group leaders was organized in the CDPO Office hall, Chatrapur from 30th to 31st August, 2019 by Aaina in collaboration with Amplifychange. The training was aimed at sensitizing the adolescent girl’s leader from their respective groups on various aspects that constitutes Sexual and Reproductive health rights of an individual and an adolescent male and female. The Training program was scheduled for two days.
The training program effectively addressed and brought into light the major issues affecting the adolescent’s life and the pre-existing state mechanism to deal with it, the participants had a clear picture of various concepts and issues that will be crucial in our future projects in engaging with our beneficiaries, who are from adolescent age group. We introduced many new literature and resource materials that will be followed in future to enrich the understanding of our adolescent leaders on the said matter.
The training program was effective in creating a batch of young adolescent leader who will not commence their respective group meetings and act like community resource person or more appropriately, as a “Buddy”
