How to Participate:

  • Children from Mo Schools / Private /Public Schools , children from Odisha State Child Protection Society, children from Heritage Schools and children from Child Care Institutions(CCI) from all 30 districts of Odisha will be invited to register online with Kallola Short Film Festival . (Click here to participate)
  • There will be a 2 day online workshop with the children, resource persons and mentors. (4 hours each day) The dates and timing will be intimated in advance.
  • 5 children groups shall be formed during the workshop and each group will work on either a film script or a radio jingle or radio spot.
  • Expert resource persons will help the children to explore the various nuances of script writing and radio jingles.
  • After the workshop each group shall be supported with mentors having experience on film making to finalize the scripts.
  • 10 best scripts from each category shall be then produced into a film and jingle by the professionals and screened during the festival in November.
  • Other than the children, all film enthusiasts whether amateur or professional, above 18 years of age who have made of thinking of making any films on the topic ‘Children & COVID 19’ can also submit their films online here.
