With an objective to sensitize the people regarding hygiene and cleanliness, Aaina organized wall painting by the active support of Water Aid at Ganjam District. It covers different schools & community walls of 5 blocks
The wall paintings along with text in Omiya carried the message on different themes like the use of toilet, importance of hand wash, process to clean the toilet etc. Messages related the use of toilet with pride in the family as well as with good health to an individual. The messages also connected use of toilet with protection from shame & insecurity.
It was observed that by going through the wall paintings at school wall, children further enquired about the importance of hygiene & cleanliness and consequences of unhygienic conditions. They could more easily comprehend the need and importance of hygiene in their day to day life.
