Aaina is looking for a results-driven professional to lead Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning across all our projects. The MEL Manager will be responsible for tracking project performance, developing and testing monitoring tools, conducting evaluations, managing data, preparing reports, and ensuring learning is embedded into our work. This role also involves training facilitation, stakeholder networking, donor scouting, proposal support, and managing organisational documentation, MIS, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead monitoring, evaluation, and learning for all Aaina projects.
  • Develop, test, and implement project monitoring tools and formats.
  • Conduct regular field visits, progress tracking, and data analysis.
  • Produce high-quality reports and case studies.
  • Facilitate trainings, workshops, and project review meetings.
  • Manage donor relations, funding opportunities, and organisational MIS.
  • Support project development, proposal writing, and fundraising.
  • Represent Aaina in external forums and manage key stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee social media, website updates, and organisational communication.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field- such as Development Studies, Social Work, Public Health, Project Management, Statistics.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in MEL/M&E roles, preferably in the development or social sector.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage Monitoring & Evaluation systems.
  • Experience in developing and testing data collection tools, frameworks, and indicators.
  • Proficiency in MIS and data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, or similar).
  • Strong skills in report writing, data visualization, and presentation.

Project & Field Skills:

  • Experience in conducting baseline, midline, and endline evaluations.
  • Ability to plan and conduct field monitoring visits.
  • Competence in case study development and qualitative & quantitative research methods.

Language: Fluency in English and Hindi; preference for candidates proficient in Odia.

Other: Willingness to travel to field locations.

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.

The role involves assessment, therapy planning, direct intervention, progress monitoring, and working closely with families, caregivers, and project teams to improve communication abilities and overall quality of life for beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, and communication needs of clients (children and adults with sensory impairments).
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to sensory and cognitive abilities.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor progress and adapt therapy approaches as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed progress reports.
  • Collaborate closely with special educators, occupational therapists, caregivers, and families.
  • Train caregivers and staff on communication-support strategies.
  • Participate in awareness campaigns and community outreach to promote inclusive communication support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology / Audiology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities, preferably in community or rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and counselling skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
