Climate Change & Children
Recognizing the vulnerability of children and the urgency of climate change, Aaina, in collaboration with its long-term partner UNICEF, focused on the theme "Climate Change & Children" for Kallola 2022. Over eight editions, Kallola has inspired the creation of 350 short films addressing various children's rights issues. In 2022, students from Harihar Nodal High School in Balangir, Ashram School in Rayagada, and Jenapur Government High School in Jajpur participated in filmmaking workshops, producing nine films. The event culminated on World Children's Day in Bhubaneswar, where the children’s films were showcased and young filmmakers were celebrated for their work in raising awareness about climate change and resilience.
