Celebrating aaina’s 15 years aaina completed 15 years of its inception on January 15, 2014. To celebrate the same, a general body meet was organised by aaina on January 29 at Badkul. All the aaina staff, ex staff and EC members were invited. It was a memorable gathering of 94 persons where everybody shared their experiences while at aaina. Children of few of the employees had joined along adding to the liveliness. Ms. Sneha Mishra, secretary aaina spoke about 15 years of journey of aaina, different achievements, struggles and plans for future. Employees who had worked or have been working for more than 10 years were awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.10.000 as a token of appreciation. All the present people received a wrist watch with an aaina logo. Two hours of boat ride around Chilika lake afterwards was equally enjoyable and refreshing. The general body meet was a wonderful reunion of past and present staff filled with emotions and excitement reviving their association with aaina that bonds them together.
