Response to Phailin aaina appreciates the support of all friends, Institutes and organizations
towards the relief of Phailin affected victims. Besides being one of the state
coordinating organizations towards Phailin response, aaina extended direct
support to Phailin affected people in 4 major phases covering about 2000
households in the worst affected blocks of Ganjam districted. A total of Rs.
1870840 has been spent to appease the physical distress of people affected from
Phailin. Dry food items, utensils, buckets, Hygiene Kit, Solar Lights and
camping tents were distributed to people.
Bharti Infratel Ltd., Harsh Foundation, Water Aid India, Save the Children,
Trident Galaxy Pvt. Ltd, Handicap International and APD Pvt. Ltd (Hydrabad)
joined hands with aaina in meeting the emergency needs.
