She was warmly welcomed by aaina staff with a flower bouquet. The purpose of her visit was to explore aaina as a prospective partnership with aaina. Ms. Kasia learnt about aaina though its website and was motivated to pay visit to aaina during her trip to Odisha.
After receiving formal welcome by Ms. Geetika Chandra, Ms. Kasia was given an overview of the projects conducted by aaina. More focus was on projects related to women and children as the foundation was involved in these two areas. Ms. Sneha Mishra, secretary aaina talked at length about the WECAN campaign and Mr. Basant elaborated on the programmes related to children such as children’s club and inclusive education at Amo Vidyalaya. Ms. Kasia attentively listened to the presentations and came up with number of brisk and applicable questions throughout the presentation.
Ms. Kasia thanked the aaina staff and mentioned her visit to aaina as worthy and productive. It turned out to be a pleasant event and aaina looks forward for a long term association with Human Dignity Foundation.
