Welcome to Kallola

The Convention on the Rights of the Child (https://www.unicef.org/child-rights-convention) outlines the basic human rights of every child. Ensuring their Rights is the responsibility of the family, society, community and the country. However, it is often seen that the rights of children are violated in the name of social practice, tradition and their own vulnerability.

Keeping in mind that the visual media has the ability to capture and influence people across generations, UNICEF and Aaina decided to come together to collaborate with the filmmaking community in the state to create awareness on child rights issues through the medium of short films. It has completed six successful years with almost 300 short films of 30,60 & 90 seconds duration on different themes pertaining to the rights of children.
