Causes of Disability
When we asked her mother about the case she said that she was under 18 when she got pregnant. Bismita’s birth weight was also low. When she was 6-7 months old she was in high fever and also suffered fits.

Past Condition
Before, Bismita was always at home, sleeping a lot. She could not respond. Whenever we tried to get her to do exercise she cried. She could not sit in a wheelchair. She could not control her movement or head. She could not sit properly.
Present condition
But after the intervention of the aaina workers, she improved greatly. The special educator & the therapist work closely with her. Now she comes to the resource centre on a daily basis. She can count numbers after listening. She responds to others. She cooperates with us while the workers/ therapist provide therapy. For her fits she is taking medicines.
